Performance with Fag Fighters

UE: Another way to activate “The Classroom” is the performance that will be on the opening night. Can you please tell us about it?

KR: The opening night will be very special the whole evening because I’m bringing FAG fighters, this fictional gang that I created, the gay gang with the pink balaclavas made by my grandma.

And they will be performing through the whole… through some rooms in the collection. And then they will end up in the classroom, in the actual exhibition space, with the physicality of the bodies and also with the movement, but also with the violinist who will be playing the music of Karol Szymanowski, the gay composer that was active at the beginning of the 20th century, a very important one.

So that would be this mixture of the stories, references to the past, but also really present queer bodies in the space that will guide us through the museum corridors to the actual space.
